WasmCheat: let your AI agent mod any web app or browser game

Tell your agent to set a browser game’s score to a million, or switch on a feature the game shipped turned off. The change stays as a mod and comes back on every reload.

WasmCheat DevTools panel after scanning a demo game: a value changed from 5 to 99999

What it does

WasmCheat is a browser extension and an MCP server. Your agent looks at what the page is built with, changes it while it runs, and keeps the change. A DevTools panel does the same by hand.

It reaches what a page keeps in JavaScript (PlayCanvas, three.js, Phaser, React) and what a compiled game keeps in WebAssembly memory (Unity, Godot, Emscripten, Rust), including games inside cross-origin iframes. Every change is logged, and nothing leaves your machine.

How to start

  1. You need Node 22 or newer and Chrome, Brave or Edge 116+. Clone and build:
    git clone https://github.com/alfman99/wasm-ce.git && cd wasm-ce
    npm install && npm run build
  2. Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, press Load unpacked and pick packages/extension/dist.
  3. Connect your agent. In Claude Code:
    claude mcp add wasmcheat --scope user -- node /full/path/to/wasm-ce/packages/mcp-server/dist/bin.js
